The content of the textbook is designed to reflect the requirements of nationally accredited courses and industry and vocational requirements. At the time of publication, WHS courses were being nationally updated to reflect national harmonisation of WHS laws. The text book, VET instructor manual and powerpoint presentations have been written to reflect the new legislative and soon to be endorsed national course changes. At this level, it is expected that the individual may have limited responsibility for the leadership and guidance of others in the performance of WHS functions. Entry requirements There are no entry requirements for this qualification Pathways Candidates may enter the qualification through a number of entry points including: • Completion of Certificate III in Work Health and Safety or other relevant Certificate III qualification OR • With extensive vocational experience in WHS roles.
