Poem: Calculus 101 – Calculus. The math of Kings If I could do it, I would sing Oh, I can differentiate It’s all the graphing that I hate. © Laura Bank 2000 Label the axis, draw that line So many little things, I lose my mind Does that point on the graph exist? To find that out, I get the gist. Oh, the Calculator , my friend, my tie To the the pitfalls of Calculus that make me cry Filling in Lines that should not be Following it closely, only gets me a “D”. Trigonometry is the worst of the lot Although logarithms make me hot Inverse cosine, secant, sine Just find the slope of that tangent line! Used with permission by the author.
