Description

To, The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr. Iftikhar Muhammad Chadhary, Supreme Court, Islamabad. Most respectfully, It is stated that the incumbent government through a notification (attached with this application) in 2008 granted 5 years general age relaxation for posts advertised by the Ministries/Divisions/Departments of the Federal Government except for recruitment to posts to be filled through the Central Superior Services examination. This is injustice with the CSS aspirants and a blatant violation of the Article 25 of the constitution which does not allow discrimination so to ensure equal opportunity to the general public in terms of their fundamental rights. Enhancing the CSS age limit by 5 years general age relaxation will arrest the said discrimination, and enhance the sense of competition in the said exam and that way land better officers in the bureaucracy. Furthermore, it will alleviate the prevailing sense of despair in the unemployed youth of the country, minimize the brain drain phenomenon that has been occurring in full swing since the previous decade. CSS aspirants wrote letters to Newspaper editors, appealed to the President, pleaded with the Prime Minister, approached Chairman FPSC, called on Secretary Establishment and contacted politicians but of no avail. Their hue and cry went unnoticed, their struggles did not succeed, their protest did not catch an eye, their cry fell on deaf ears. The Supreme Court and your Honour Chief Justice of Pakistan are now the last hope of CSS aspirants in this regard. They have pinned their hopes on your miraculous office. On the behalf of uncountable CSS aspirants, you are requested to take Suo Motu notice of this matter and grant 5 years general age relaxation in the CSS exams. Yours sincerely, Following is the link of government notification http://express.com.pk/images/NP_LHE/20110423/Sub_Images/1101223960-1.jpg To, The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr. Iftikhar Muhammad Chadhary, Supreme Court, Islamabad. Before 2001 the upper age limit for CSS exam was 30 years for general candidates and 35 years for Government employees. The same was reduced to 28 years for general candidates and 30 for Government employees by the then dictator General retired Parvaiz Musharraf in 2001 illegal and without lawful authority. The reduction in upper age limit has deprived hundreds of thousands of prospected candidates and still same policy and rules are enforced. Due to this policy hundreds of thousands of prospected candidates every year depriving. Since then the reduction in upper age limit are under consideration. The deprived class of youth are tried their level best to approach each and every competent authority for relaxation of age limit. Even some of the aspirant communicated letters in the name of President of Pakistan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, Chairman FPSC and also contacted the head of the political parties of the Pakistan. Now recently on 23 April 2011 the CSS aspirants are deliberately discriminated by giving 5 years general age relaxation in all civil services of Pakistan except CSS.
