Petroleum (Safety Measures) (Transport of Petroleum by Pipelines) Regulations 1985. The applications are classified into four categories. the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs was given the responsibility of administrating the Petroleum (Safety Measures) Act 1984 and the regulations made thereunder. DOSH was entrusted by the ministry to implement one of the regulations under this act. Permission to install (PTI) petroleum pipelines ii. bulk storage facility and equipment. Petroleum Products All substances that are derived from petroleum:  Methane.e. Petroleum Any mineral oil or relative hydrocarbon and natural gas existing in its natural condition and casing head petroleum spirit including bituminous shales and other stratified deposits from which oil can be extracted. Permission to operate (PTO) petroleum pipelines iii. This act governs the safety of the petroleum industry which encompasses the safety aspect of the transport. ii. compressor . including petroleum products.
